Definition of poultry and livestock feed
Poultry and livestock feed is generally refers to the food for poultry and livestock , it is the ordinary feed in the feed classification.
Various kinds of Raw materials
The common raw material of poultry& livestock feed includes corn, wheat, barley, oats, sorghum, soybean meal, fish meal, acids, mixed meals, whey powder, oil, meat and bone meal, grain, feed additives and so on.
Main process of the feed production line
1. Capacity is designed for 10T/H poultry & livestock feed (8-12T/H).
2. moderate grinding fineness(screen hole diameter 2-4mm),
3. moderate curing and conditioning requirements (pellet mill equip with double layers steam conditioners)
4. finished products with pellet diameter (pellet diameter is around 2.5-4mm).
5. This plant includes one hammer mill of crushing process, one dosing & one mixer, one feed pellet mill for pelleting process, one counter flow cooler, feed crumbler, rotary sieving screen, and one feed bagging machine of packing process.
6. This feed plant requires to have steam boiler.
7. The whole line of the 10TPH SZLH420 poultry & livestock feed plant is compact in design, reasonable in structure, meeting the requirement of environmental protection, and can be customized according to the requirements of customers.

Introduction of Each Process:
Raw Material Receiving & Pre-cleaning Process
The usage of cleaning system is removing the raw materials’ impurities, such as rope, clod, corn cob etc. non-magnetic impurities and iron nail magnetic impurities. The Raw material receiving & pre-cleaning system is divided into granule pellets feeding & cleaning and mash feed feeding & cleaning. It can ensure the quality of products and the safety of the processing equipment.
The usage of crushing system is increasing the specific surface area of feed which is good for animal digestion and absorption and improving the processing performance of raw materials. This feed plant adopts 1-2 sets of hammer mills. The impurities in the raw materials will be removed by magnetic cylinder before feeding into the pre-grinding bins, to ensure there will be no irons to damage hammers of the hammer mill. The cleaned raw materials will feed into the hammer mill chamber for grinding. In this process, auxiliary dust removing system will be needed. It not only saves energy, but also prevents dust spillage, lowers material temperature and improves crushing efficiency.
Automatic Material Dosing & Mixing System
This material dosing system is designed according to different feed formula, is accurate weighing process of different raw materials by using specific device. The mixing process is used to mix various materials uniformly, after various materials are metered. It is an operation that makes the raw materials distribute evenly.
This process use two set of dosing scales, some dosing bins according to the types of materials and feed formula, and the manual adding system can be equipped with checking scale. After the dosing and weighing process are finished, the raw materials enter the mixer for mixing, and finally the raw materials are discharged by chain conveyor and bucket elevator to next process.
Feed Pelleting, cooling and crumbling Process
The purpose of pelleting system is to make finely divided, dust-prone, poorly palatable and difficult-to-ship feeds into granule pellets by the action of heat, moisture and pressure in the pelleting process. It can improve the tastiness of the feed, reduce the feed-meat ratio, reduce feed waste and reduce environmental pollution.
This process adopt one set SZLH420 pellet mill with 2-layer steam conditioner. After pelleting, the final pellets enter the counter flow cooler, feed crumbler, then transported by bucket elevator to the rotary sieving screen for sifting, and finally enter into the bagging bins for bagging.
